Delete file links in your Excel files. Excel files can be automatically backed up before work is done. This will eliminate the message: This workbook contains links to other data sources. If you update the links, Excel attempts to retrieve the latest data. If you don't update, Excel uses the previous information. You must have Excel 2002 (XP) or higher installed on your machine.
