PC SMS Receiver is an application for receiving SMS messages on your PC via a GSM modem or a mobile phone connected to a serial port, Bluetooth, IR-Port. To be used with PC SMS Receiver your mobile phone must support the AT command set for receiving SMS messages, as defined in the GSM 07.05 Specification. PC SMS Receiver can receive and reassemble long; (or concatenated) SMS messages. A GSM modem is preferable to a mobile phone because some mobile phones do not forward long messages via the modem interface. PC SMS Receiver can forward received messages as emails. Automatic reconnection to the mobile phone/modem after lost of connection is supported. |
