If we adjust the opacity in the Form of .Net Framework, its controls will also become Semitransparent. In StForm we can change opacity (transparency) of only form, so we can get Semitransparent form with opaque controls. This version supports new features like Textured Background, Custom Shaped Form, Sticky windows, customizable Control Buttons and others.
StForm supports MDI feature, with the help of this we can create Multiple form applications. We can adjust the opacity of each and every form individually, the property is independent of the MdiParent’s value. In the previous screen shot Main form is the MdiParent. Other forms like Color Correction, Gamma Correction are MdiChildren.
Demo application and its code are available. You can develop a new application with StForm by referring “SemitransparentForm.dll”. This assembly is trial version to get the license to use this assembly contact anandachlk@gmail.com. |
